Fredric Lehrman, B.S., J.D.
President, Master Tutor
Luke received his BS in Science, Technology, and International Affairs from Georgetown University and is currently working toward his second undergraduate degree, studying Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University. Having grown up abroad, he speaks fluent German and is well versed in both quantitative and quantitative subjects given his dual degrees. Luke’s academic and test prep record highlights include National Merit Scholar distinction and superior performance on the SAT, ACT, and GMAT exams. 

Luke tutors in all math courses ranging from Algebra I to Ordinary Differential Equations, Computer Science I (C++), Biology, Chemistry, Physics I and II, AP English, Business, Accounting, Finance, Micro and Macro Economics, and other undergrad core requirements. Luke also assists in test prep, specifically on SAT IIs for Math, AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics I, II, and C, AP Economics, PSAT, SAT, ACT, and GMAT.

With over 35 years of experience in the education and legal professions, Fredric Lehrman is an Ivy-League educated business owner. Fredric is the Vice-President of Ivy League Graduate Tutors.  He graduated from Riverdale Country Day School, which he attended from grades 4 through 12. Fredric received a B.S. degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, Fredric received his Juris Doctorate degree from New York Law School.  

Fredric has been a practicing attorney in New York State since 1972. Fredric held the position of Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, NY (1974-1977).

Fredric has also participated as an interviewer on the University of Pennsylvania's Secondary School Committee for nearly twenty years. He has advised many students over the past two decades on the College Admissions Process and mentors students in the legal profession.  Fredric tutors students in English, Business, Test Preparation, and Legal Studies.
Shari - UPENN (B.A.), Miami (J.D.), Master Tutor
Shari graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science and from the University of Miami with a J.D.  After law school, Shari clerked for a New Jersey Superior Court Judge, and she has subsequently worked as an immigration attorney, defending immigrants before the immigration court system. Shari published legal decisions and argued a case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Shari studied and worked in several countries abroad, including Spain, France, Israel, Monaco, Greece, and Argentina. She is conversational in Spanish and is well-versed in French, Latin, Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, and Russian to varying degrees.  She has tutored many students in the past, both in the United States and abroad. Shari tutors Languages, English, Elementary & Middle School Math & English, in addition to SAT/ACT preparation, and Admissions Consulting. Shari enjoys explaining concepts to students in a way that allows them to grasp the material completely and move forward confidently in their studies. 
Susanna - Georgetown (B.S., M.Phil.), Master Tutor
Susanna received her B.A. in both Philosophy and German cum laude from Georgetown University. During her studies at Georgetown she took classes in many different subjects, including Spanish, Psychology, and Literature. 

Susanna has studied and worked abroad extensively, mainly in Germany. Her academic and test prep records include the SAT (2070), SAT II Literature (730), SAT II German with Listening (680), AP Literature (5), AP US History (5). She is fluent in German and has experience teaching English as a second language, mainly to children. Susanna worked as an au pair in Germany, where she aided in homework and taught English to children aged 2-7. Susanna has varied experience and tutors SAT II and AP Literature and Language tests as well as European History, US History, and German, introductory Spanish, University-level writing, Psychology, Sociology, Mathematics, and test preparation.

Hallie - UPENN (B.A.), M.S.
Director, Founder, Master Tutor
Hallie's academic career highlights include high school salutatorian, National Toyota Community Scholar, Coca-Cola Semifinalist, AP Scholar with Honors & National Merit Commended Scholar. She is a former Adjunct Professor in the Sciences Department at SUNY schools & Mercy College. Hallie devotes all energies to Ivy League Graduate Tutors as Academic & Test Preparation Director and an international test prep expert. She designed and implemented the world's first 80-hour intensive SAT course in Asia. In her role as Chief Consultant at Ivy League College Consultants, she serves as a Private School & College Consulting Advisor. 

Hallie tutors students K-graduate school in Academic Subjects and achieves exceptional academic and test preparation results in addition to providing college and graduate admissions consulting services nationwide. She maintains professional memberships with PENN Club (NYC), the University of Pennsylvania Secondary School Committee, Philomathean Society, Society for Neuroscience.
Grace - Indiana University, (B.A.), Master Tutor
Grace received her B.A. in French Literature and English Poetics, both with honors, from Indiana University. During her time there, Grace wrote two honors theses, one written in French on Camus' L'Étranger and one on the poetry of Wallace Stevens. Within the French department, she was the founding member of "Les Revenants," a weekly French conversation club designed to help students with high French levels maintain proficiency. She also taught FRIT-F202, Intermediate French Conversation I. Within the English department, Grace was a member of the English Advisory Board, a group of students that advised the Director of Undergraduate Studies on student-department relations. She also interned in the Editorial Department of the Indiana University Press. 

At IU, Grace was also selected to work as a tutor for Writing Tutorial Services, an elite group of students chosen to undergo a six-month training seminar and then to work as peer tutors. As a tutor, Grace worked to help students reach the best possible version of their writing by approaching a piece of writing holistically first, looking at structure of the essay, and then moving to sentence-level errors, such as grammar and spelling. Grace used these techniques to help students cultivate their own writing skills and to find their own scholarly voices, while gaining confidence in their own abilities, instead of simply proofreading their work. She worked with students on everything from test-prep in reading comprehension and essay components to academic essays. She also worked extensively with applications and CVs. 

At Ivy League Graduate Tutors, Grace tutors academic writing, CV writing, French language, personal statements for competitive applications, and literature-related test-prep. She currently resides in Bordeaux, France, where she works as an English as a Second Language teacher.
Caitlin - Georgetown University (B.S.), Master Tutor
Caitlin received her BS in Global Business from the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service with a cum laude distinction. During her studies she also completed a minor in German and spanned both qualitative and quantitative coursework.  Her academic focuses include European international relations and international investment strategy.  She has tutoring experience with students from varied academic and cultural backgrounds.

Caitlin tutors math up to the precalculus level with experience working with students with learning differences.  She also tutors in Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, and History, and provides writing tutoring across disciplines. She also assists in pre-college test prep for AP Exams, SAT II tests, PSAT, SAT, and ACT, as well as secondary school entrance exams such as the SSAT, ISEE, and COOP. 

Sophia - University of Michigan (B.A.), USC (Master in Teaching), Master Tutor
Sophia has been tutoring for over ten years and began tutoring college athletes at the University of Michigan in English and Psychology. Sophia also taught English to native Spanish speakers from Honduras. After graduating with a double major in Creative Writing and International Relations, Sophia worked in Brazil, where she taught English to business executives and middle and high school students. Sophia also worked as a Cryptologic Linguist for the Army Intelligence. She studied Farsi at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, and gained linguistic and system and signals communications training. 

Sophia edits college application essays for high school seniors as well as student applications for admission into top-ranked private American high schools. She has given speeches for consultants and students on the topic of Essay Writing, focusing on the Personal Statement and Supplemental Essay subjects. She also teaches U.S. History, SSAT Writing, Poetry Appreciation, and Interview Preparation online. Sophia has student-taught at high schools in the Bronx and Queens.

Alex - Student Tutor
Alex is a National AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Distinction, and National Merit Scholar. Alex has taken eight Advanced Placement exams and earned 5s on all of them! Alex earned National Merit Scholar distinction for his scores on the PSAT/SAT (SAT score: 1590, 800-Math, 790-Reading/Writing). Alex has also received perfect scores (800) on SAT II US History & Math II. Alex tutors at the AP/HS level in math (Calculus BC), Physics, Economics, Statistics, US Government, Test Prep for SATI/II and AP Exams. 

Issy - Harvard (B.S., MSEd), Master Tutor
Issy received her BA in Sociology with a Citation in Spanish from Harvard University. During her time at Harvard Issy was accepted to a study abroad program in Cochabamba, Bolivia. While in Bolivia she worked with a charity focused on rehabilitating children struggling with homelessness and drug problems, tutoring students in English while perfecting her Spanish. As part of her final project, Issy compiled her tutees experiences into a bilingual children’s book, which is currently sold to raise money for the charity. While at Harvard, Issy also represented Harvard playing Field Hockey as a Varsity Division 1 athlete, for all 4 years, where she was named to the All American 2nd team. 

Issy received her graduate degree in Education from the Graduate School of Education through an inaugural Masters Program focused on equipping teachers to address systematic injustices throughout the Education System. As part of her Masters Program Issy taught AP World History in a low income Charter school in Brooklyn, New York, and developed remedial tutoring curriculum for students who failed during the academic year. Issy’s believes that all students are capable of mastery and that it is the responsibility of students, tutors, teachers, parents and schools to enable students to reach their full potential. She hopes to provide students with an education that is not only transferable to their daily lives but also enables students to become natural critical thinkers. Issy works with students on everything from test preparation, CV’s to AP World History, Social Studies, A level Politics, and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys a vast variety of hobbies ranging from cooking to making pottery and reading. 
Charles - (Dual B.S.) Wofford & Columbia University, Master Tutor
Charles received a bachelor's degree in Physics from Wofford College and received Magna Cum Laude distinction. He currently seeking a second undergraduate degree from Columbia University in Mechanical Engineering. Charles is a Merit Scholar at Wofford College and has made the Dean's List at both schools. Charles is experienced in both applied and analytical projects due to the dual degrees.
